The carving set is forged from a single piece of steel, resulting in a full-tang construction. This allows for a seamless transition from blade to handle. The blades are made from high-carbon stainless steel. They taper evenly toward the cutting edge for maximum sharpness and edge retention.
The carving knife and fork have triple rivet, ergonomic, black handles for optimal weight balance and comfort. The synthetic poly-over-molded (POM) handles resist cracking and separation from the blades. The Victorinox Grand Maitre carving knife set comes with an 8 inch / 20 cm carving knife and a 6 inch / 15 cm carving fork. The carving set was proudly made in Germany and has a lifetime warranty.
